Work Environment

This is an onsite position located in the heart of Tampa, providing a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our facility is designed to facilitate recovery and wellness, ensuring that each practitioner has access to modern equipment and resources necessary to deliver effective treatment. Working alongside two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address patients' orthopedic needs and goals.
• Manage a caseload, providing focused therapy to one patient per hour while ensuring quality care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs using diverse treatment techniques.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments aimed at improving range of motion and mobility, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey and encourage adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust exercise regimens to optimize patient progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient care services and treatment outcomes as per regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient rehabilitation. Many of our patients come to us seeking alternatives to surgical interventions for issues such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our goal is to empower patients through customized rehabilitation programs that enhance their movement capabilities and overall health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Strong professional ethics with a clean record—no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in physical therapy treatment is beneficial.
• Ability to engage with a diverse patient population and address various orthopedic concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
