This position is based in our vibrant outpatient clinic located in Tampa, Florida. Our facility fosters a culture of teamwork and professional development, offering resources and training for therapists to excel in their practice. The clinic environment is set up to facilitate hands-on patient interactions, featuring open treatment areas and private consultation rooms to ensure privacy and comfort.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their medical history, physical condition, and functional abilities to determine the need for physical therapy.
Regularly document and review patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
Maintain precise, up-to-date, and thorough patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain, and patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with clients across all ages, adapting your treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of children, adults, and seniors. Our goal is to empower patients with the tools and knowledge they need to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
Exceptional manual therapy skills and a deep understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
A commitment to delivering high-quality, empathetic, and patient-centered care.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices is highly desirable.
