This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practice, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, home care techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient progress accurately and regularly to keep the treatment plan up to date, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and physicians—to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Participate actively in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and innovations in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Meet clinic utilization and performance goals while ensuring patient satisfaction and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, but you will also have opportunities to work with individuals across a variety of specialties, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By building strong interpersonal relationships, you will help patients not only to recover but also to exceed their functional goals and return to their preferred activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA-accredited or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Possess a valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, both written and verbal, with strong computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients, is highly desirable.
• Ability to apply advanced pain management techniques and rehabilitative strategies.
• Experience working with diverse populations to provide culturally competent care.
• Skills in building rapport and trust to facilitate patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
