Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet, housing advanced sports medicine equipment to enhance the rehabilitation experience for our patients.

Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient office dedicated to orthopedic rehabilitation. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a licensed physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to ensure a supportive and motivating environment. We offer a structured weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, striving to maintain work-life balance while delivering exemplary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine each patient's specific goals and requirements, ensuring tailored treatment protocols.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused attention to each individual's rehabilitation process.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy through hands-on modalities and therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing range of motion and functional mobility.
• Consult regularly with patients regarding their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to accommodate their evolving needs.
• Promote alternative methods to medication reliance, emphasizing non-invasive approaches that can mitigate the need for surgical interventions.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a mix of therapeutic techniques such as modalities, dry needling, and exercise.
• Encourage lifestyle changes by developing customized fitness and wellness regimens tailored to improve patient strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, WebPT, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Foster collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Evaluate and monitor treatment outcomes, delivering ongoing communication with patients regarding their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabs, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Our diverse patient demographic ranges from active adults seeking to regain mobility to older adults aiming for improved function and independence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Possession of a current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Evidence of an unblemished professional history with no disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of individualized exercise protocols.
• Proficiency with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is essential to streamline patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued and will be prioritized.
• A background in developing rehabilitation programs that focus on sports-related injuries would be advantageous.
• Competency in teaching and motivating patients to engage in their own recovery processes.
