Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, delivering care directly within patients' homes. Our approach emphasizes safe and effective treatment strategies that accommodate each patient's specific needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical function and mobility to tailor treatment plans specific to their recovery needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and the use of assistive devices to optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, document treatment responses, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including caregivers and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families regarding home exercises, safe mobility practices, and the use of assistive equipment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and active participation in the physical therapy community to stay updated with the latest practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our dedicated team specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Working closely with individuals of varying ages and physical capabilities, you'll be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery, focusing on restoring function, mobility, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with home care settings is advantageous, providing insight into the unique challenges and rewards of delivering in-home therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient interactions and treatment progress.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and effective communication with patients and their families to motivate and support them throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits
