Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing functional limitations and creating individualized treatment plans aimed at improving their quality of life.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients throughout their recovery process.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, continually re-evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and service charges, adhering to all applicable laws and professional standards.
• Participate in departmental leadership activities, including community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and marketing efforts to enhance service delivery and organizational visibility.
• Supervise support staff while ensuring a cohesive team environment that fosters both professional development and high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Strong Bodies, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our client demographic includes diverse age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations, requiring tailored communication and treatment approaches to meet unique needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is essential.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, are required.

Preferred Experience
