Position Overview

Top Point Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time, onsite position within our home care setting, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients by delivering personalized physical therapy services in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Top Point, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and restoring muscle function.
• Collaborating with and guiding physical therapy assistants to ensure effective treatment delivery according to established care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through diagnostic testing to inform treatment strategies.
• Assessing clients' home environments to identify potential improvements that enhance their functional independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and treatments—including traction and massage—while instructing clients in safe and effective techniques.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, making recommendations for modifications in consultation with physicians.
• Documenting client progress in clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with evaluation standards such as OASIS.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and contribute to holistic care planning.
• Educating clients and their families on best practices and the proper use of physical therapy equipment.
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with branch policies, including payroll and clinical records.
• Completing various other duties as assigned to meet the objectives of our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, and those experiencing mobility issues due to various conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will focus on enhancing each client's physical function and improving their overall quality of life through tailored therapy interventions. You will develop meaningful relationships with your clients and their families, ensuring that their unique goals and preferences are respected throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid license to practice in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy role, with a focus on orthopedic conditions being highly desirable.
• Current CPR certification to ensure client safety.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance, as travel to client homes is a necessary aspect of the role.
• A passion for clinical excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

• Experience in a home health care setting is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate documentation and client tracking.
• Expertise in working with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
