Work Environment

Our Tampa facility specializes in home care for orthopedic patients, ensuring tailored therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting. As part of a close-knit team of professionals, including two fellow physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work collaboratively to inspire, motivate, and achieve positive health outcomes. Our comprehensive facility is designed to provide the resources and support necessary to enhance the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess each patient's condition, developing customized treatment plans aimed at maximizing mobility and functionality.
• Provide hands-on therapy with a focus on improving range of motion, strength, and balance.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one client per hour, ensuring personalized attention and high-quality care.
• Implement non-invasive therapeutic methods to alleviate pain and promote healing, while minimizing the reliance on medications.
• Prepare educational materials to inform patients about their conditions and treatment options.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, using evidence-based practices to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights about patient outcomes.
• Design and lead fitness and wellness programs that holistically address individual patient needs and promote long-term health.
• Engage patients with motivational techniques to support their rehabilitation and enhance compliance with their therapeutic program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on individuals with orthopedic concerns, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patient demographic includes those covered by private medical insurance, typically presenting with conditions that require personalized care plans. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and specific needs of each patient is essential for delivering effective therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; an advanced degree such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrate a clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and the latest rehabilitation methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing tailored exercise programs specific to patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.
• Proven track record in achieving significant patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range between USD 130,000 and 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
