Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our growing team at Kinetic Physical Therapy Clinic in Tampa, Florida. Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite within our outpatient office, which is designed to provide a welcoming and motivational environment for both staff and patients. You will work alongside a small collaborative team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), sharing knowledge, strategies, and support as you focus on optimizing patient outcomes. Our regular hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allow for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized care plans that address the specific goals and needs of each patient, utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality interaction and attention.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities tailored to enhance motion and mobility.
• Educate patients on various aspects of injury prevention, strength building, and healthy living strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, providing feedback and necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes for all patients.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and progress made, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on a diverse patient population primarily dealing with orthopedic issues. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sporting injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, guiding them through a customized rehabilitation journey that promotes active participation and empowers them in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in Florida, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming is essential.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient management processes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy.
• Demonstrated success in providing cost-effective treatment plans that reduce the need for invasive surgical interventions.
• Previous experience in developing and modifying rehabilitation programs based on patient progress and feedback.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing education and professional development.
