Full Time Physical Therapist - Outpatient sports medicine clinic

Position Overview Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic care to join our team in Brandon, Florida. This full-time position will focus on providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our clients, allowing them to regain movement and enhance their quality of life. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work directly with patients to develop tailored treatment plans, conduct assessments, and implement therapeutic exercises aimed at helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is a leading provider of orthopedic outpatient physical therapy services in Florida. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology designed to optimize patient recovery. We take pride in our commitment to delivering evidence-based care and work collaboratively within a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping patients restore their function and mobility.

This position will be primarily onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility in Brandon, Florida. Our clinic offers a collaborative and supportive environment where you will interact closely with patients and health care team members. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while dedicating your efforts to patient care.

Administer effective physical therapy interventions to restore functional mobility and strength in patients.

Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, such as WebPT.

Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring all patient needs are met.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients range from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to older adults looking to improve their everyday mobility. Your role will be crucial in empowering them to achieve their personal best and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.

Excellent manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescription.
