Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, which is well-equipped to provide comprehensive orthopedic therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and goals to formulate personalized treatment plans that outline clear objectives and evidence-based interventions.
• Implement a variety of physical therapy techniques aimed at improving motion and mobility while minimizing the need for medications and surgical procedures.
• Design and lead specialized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the individual requirements of patients, supporting their recovery and promoting long-term health outcomes.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment strategy that aligns with each patient's overall care plan.
• Encourage and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by promoting exercises that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients at Comfort Care Physical Therapy primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related mobility issues. The therapist will engage with a diverse range of patients, requiring the ability to adapt treatment styles to meet various backgrounds and personalities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree or Doctorate is highly preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $120,000 annually.
