Harmonic Movement Therapies is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. Harmonic Movement Therapies is a leading outpatient physical therapy clinic located in the heart of Tampa, FL, specializing in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is thoughtfully designed to provide a conducive environment for healing and recovery. Our highly skilled team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

Work Environment

This position is purely onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and the opportunity to collaborate closely with your colleagues. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, creating a balance between professional responsibilities and personal time. You will utilize cutting-edge equipment and techniques in our well-equipped outpatient office, striving to set new standards in immediate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual needs and goals of each patient to tailor effective treatment plans.
• Manage a diverse caseload, seeing an average of 2-3 patients per hour while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Implement and adjust physical therapy interventions with a focus on outpatient orthopedic care.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to increase patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Advocate for the reduction of prescription drug reliance by introducing patients to non-surgical options when applicable.
• Develop comprehensive care and rehabilitation plans that encompass exercise regimens and lifestyle suggestions.
• Inspire confidence in patients by encouraging active participation in their recovery process and facilitating healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate care efforts with other medical professionals to ensure integrated and holistic treatment plans.
• Regularly analyze patient progress, document results, and adapt treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress achieved for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population largely consists of athletes and active individuals seeking specialized rehabilitation services. You will be entrusted with treating a variety of conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports-related injuries, and general mobility impairments. Your role will be crucial in helping these patients regain their functional abilities and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist with no pending disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to support efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically in outpatient orthopedic care is highly desirable.
• Expertise in sports rehabilitation techniques and knowledge of current treatments will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
