Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy interventions focused on preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring functional mobility as aligned with the patient's prescribed treatment plan.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure effective delivery of therapy services and adherence to the established plan of care.
• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate each patient's functional capabilities, utilizing various diagnostic and prognostic tools to inform treatment decisions.
• Assess the home environment of clients in need of outpatient therapy and provide tailored recommendations to enhance their independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Deliver services as prescribed by physician orders while administering manual therapeutic exercises, motivating and instructing clients to engage in both manual and non-manual activities.
• Implement and monitor the application of physical modalities, including traction and massage, to support recovery processes.
• Provide guidance in fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices while collaborating with physicians to recommend modifications as necessary.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, sharing insights and updates regarding the client's treatment plan and progress.
• Document comprehensive clinical records, including initial evaluations and discharge summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of practical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic care.

• Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, particularly with post-operative patients.
• Familiarity with utilizing outcome measures and electric medical record systems for patient evaluations and documentation.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., Manual Therapy, Dry Needling) are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
