Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use needs of students, ensuring culturally and age-appropriate considerations are integrated into all evaluations.

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling services, facilitating intake assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and referral to appropriate community services, including substance abuse treatment programs.
\n
• Document detailed mental health evaluations and progress notes in compliance with established health guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely records of all encounters.
\n
• Act as a liaison between families and educational personnel to promote understanding and collaboration, and refer to community resources, including medication assistance programs when necessary.
\n
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance care quality through data collection processes that improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on students from diverse backgrounds within the school system. You will engage with children and their families who are navigating a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and relevant state Professional License (LCSW).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, along with three years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or school environment.

• Proven experience in group facilitation, therapeutic planning, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
