Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' needs.
\n
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions in both telehealth and in-person formats.
\n
• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as per clients’ needs.

• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
\n
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations while providing high-quality care.
\n
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client needs and treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will work closely with children, adults, and families, ensuring a culturally responsive approach to therapy that meets the unique needs of each client. You will have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, or LGBTQ+ issues, adapting your therapeutic techniques to resonate with a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage, and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in bilingual therapy (Spanish and English) preferred.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, providing services to children, adults, and families.
\n
• A respectful and sensitive approach to working with diverse populations, understanding each family's cultural and individual needs.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and willingness to provide services in line with established treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications, the following experiences are preferred:

• Formal training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Specialization in areas like trauma, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience working with various insurance panels as an in-network provider.

• Proficiency in using EHR software and similar technology, as well as scheduling and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary between $70,000 and $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
