Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals and families facing mental health challenges, ensuring that you gather detailed history and current circumstances to tailor interventions effectively.

• Provide graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions that align with client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and client progress clearly and promptly in our electronic health record system to maintain accurate records and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Participate actively in patient rounds and staff meetings to discuss progress, treatment updates, and strategies for care coordination, ensuring a team-based approach to client treatment.

• Engage in case management for assigned patients by consulting with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide holistic support.

• Complete timely documentation and follow departmental standards for ethical practice, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily in outpatient settings, who seek support for various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other behavioral health challenges. Our clients come from all age groups and backgrounds, emphasizing the need for culturally competent care and an understanding of the unique needs they present.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential to qualify for this role.

• Applicants should possess at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating competence in therapeutic settings.

• Willingness to work a minimum of 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client availability.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community health setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems are advantageous. Additional certification in trauma-informed care or specific therapy modalities would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
