Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ histories and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience for each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a structured yet flexible approach to address the unique needs of trauma survivors.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care for clients.

• Handle crisis interventions with professionalism and compassion, stabilizing patients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, ensuring a continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research, treatments, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population consists of adults from various backgrounds, many of whom have faced significant personal challenges. Your role will involve not only therapeutic engagement but also advocacy and support in navigating the complexities of their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with specific focus on trauma-related disorders preferred.

• Strong knowledge and practical application of trauma-informed care principles and resilience-building techniques.

• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, approaching all interactions with empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

• A proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high-stress situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
