Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized treatment plans for clients, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication management strategies.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that aligns with regulatory standards and is submitted in a timely manner to ensure appropriate tracking and follow-up of client care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to accurately assess client needs and progress.
\n
• Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client goals.
\n
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of care.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies, community partners, and service systems to coordinate care and enhance resource accessibility for clients.
\n
• Establish and nurture communication channels to meet contractual standards and promote ongoing community engagement.
\n
• Build relationships with local and state organizations to promote our programs and identify new opportunities for partnerships and funding.
\n
• Commit to your own professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and relevant task forces to broaden your expertise and influence in the field.

• Enact and promote the core values, mission, and philosophy of Summit Counseling Center in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support operational goals and client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on supporting clients navigating mental health challenges, including those dealing with emotional distress, substance use issues, and developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory, ensuring a solid theoretical grounding in mental health principles.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is required to practice within Florida and deliver quality care.

• Demonstrated ability to manage clinical records, prepare reports, and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
