Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. However, you will also have the opportunity to engage with colleagues and clients at our outpatient facility located in Riverside. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a significant difference in the lives of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, focusing on factors like severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate actively with clients in creating personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals, utilizing strengths-based approaches.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in one-on-one and group settings.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance understanding and facilitate recovery.

• Monitor clients’ progress by maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment adjustments compliant with both legal and ethical standards.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to align treatment approaches and remain current on best practices and emerging research.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health issues and promote access to needed support and resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, with a focus on CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatric professionals.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients of varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
