Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized therapy plans based on your evaluations, providing tailored interventions that resonate with clients' specific challenges.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions to offer support, guidance, and coping strategies, tracking progress over time.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, building trust and providing a safe space for open communication.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, making referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists when additional support is required.

• Document all clinical interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in the EHR with fidelity and professionalism.

• Stay current with industry best practices and participate in regular team meetings and training sessions for continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, each presenting unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. Your clientele may include individuals grappling with pervasive mental health issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Cultural competence and sensitivity will be essential as you design treatment plans that respect and integrate the life experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current licensure in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• At least four years of related clinical experience providing mental health services.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in culturally responsive therapy and the ability to adjust methods based on client needs.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills—able to navigate challenging situations with composure and empathy.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse group of clients.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and a solid grasp of standard computer applications.

• A strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
