Image First Uniforms is growing, and we're looking for two experienced Outside Sales Executives to help expand our national presence.

\n

We're searching for established uniform industry professionals who have built strong business relationships, know how to develop new opportunities, and aren't afraid to pick up the phone or knock on doors.

\n

The ideal candidate brings an existing network of industry contacts, a proven history of building business, and the drive to continuously pursue new customers.

\n

We're not looking for order takers. We're looking for hunters who know how to win business, build relationships, and grow accounts.

\n

Unlike traditional uniform rental providers, we specialize in purchase-based programs that give customers greater flexibility, more product choices, and better control over their uniform investments.

Our solutions include uniforms, workwear, flame-resistant clothing, safety apparel, footwear, outerwear, and promotional products.

We also provide in-house customization, online ordering portals, employee allotment programs, and national fulfillment services.

We serve customers across multiple industries, including automotive, manufacturing, hospitality, facilities management, HVAC, construction, public safety, and more.

The Opportunity

\n

\n

As an Outside Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business and managing customer relationships from initial contact through ongoing account growth.

\n

You'll have the freedom to pursue opportunities throughout the United States while leveraging your industry knowledge, professional relationships, and prospecting abilities.

\n

This is a full-cycle sales position for someone who enjoys both winning new accounts and developing long-term customer partnerships.

\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Actively prospect and develop new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and industry events.
\n
• Leverage established professional relationships to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
\n
• Identify businesses that could benefit from transitioning from uniform rental to purchase-based programs.
\n
• Conduct customer discovery meetings, develop proposals, and present customized solutions.
\n
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through closing and implementation.
\n
• Maintain ownership of customer relationships and serve as their primary point of contact.
\n
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional departments, locations, and product opportunities.
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful program implementation and customer satisfaction.
\n
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline reporting, and forecasts.
\n
• Consistently achieve established new-business and account-growth objectives.
\n
• Travel as needed to meet customers and develop business.
\n

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the uniform industry .
\n
• Proven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new business.
\n
• Experience selling uniform rental programs, direct-purchase uniforms, workwear, or related apparel solutions.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build and grow a portfolio of customer accounts.
\n
• Strong cold-calling, networking, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Ability to independently identify opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle.
\n
• Strong understanding of uniform programs, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
\n
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
\n
• Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working independently.
\n
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Established professional network within the uniform, workwear, or related industries.
\n
• Existing relationships with decision-makers in industries that regularly purchase uniforms.
\n
• Experience selling to multi-location businesses or national accounts.
\n
• Familiarity with uniform rental contracts and purchase-versus-rental comparisons.
\n
• Experience selling FR clothing, PPE, safety apparel, footwear, or corporate apparel.
\n
• Proven history of growing accounts through additional products, locations, and services.
\n
