You will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues from the comfort of your home or our outpatient office in Columbia, Maryland.

This role will provide you the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, including remote work opportunities while occasionally attending our outpatient facility in Columbia, Maryland. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans for clients, ensuring that their unique needs and circumstances are addressed.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy to individuals, couples, and groups.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for clients, identifying and addressing any challenges impacting their treatment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, while ensuring compliance with all state regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay informed of the latest advancements and research in mental health treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists predominantly of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, and substance misuse issues. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Maryland.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal requirements surrounding mental health practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of clients and individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary Range: USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and availability of clients.
\n
