Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, providing a safe space for clients to discuss their mental health issues.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of your clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic resources, such as goal tracking tools, journaling exercises, and educational materials, to enhance client engagement and progress.

• Documenting each session meticulously in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Regularly assessing client progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary, fostering open communication and trust with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of mental health issues, encompassing conditions such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and grief. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and needs into their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and independent LPCC license in good standing within California.
\n
• Technical proficiency, including a reliable internet connection, a computer (desktop or laptop), and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to articulate treatment plans and progress readily.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in mental health counseling.

• Previous telehealth experience is a plus but not required.

• Experience in utilizing technology for therapy and documentation.
