This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst,GS-14, you will perform the following duties: Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of subordinate staff or subordinate supervisors and their teams, ensuring that assignments are distributed equitably and efficiently based on workload requirements, employee expertise, and developmental needs. Establishes program goals, priorities, and deadlines, monitors progress and adjusts plans as necessary to address evolving operational requirements. Expert analyst responsible for conducting comprehensive studies and evaluations to assess and improve the effectiveness of agency programs, operations, and management processes. Evaluates the alignment of program activities with broader agency priorities and to identify opportunities for resource optimization. Serves as a subject matter expert on program evaluation and management practices, providing guidance to agency leadership and staff on best practices for improving program operations. You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Leading program initiatives and coordinating priorities to ensure timely completion of program requirements. Conducting studies and evaluations of programs, operations, or management processes to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements. Advising management on program evaluation findings and management practices to improved program operations. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Supervisory Probationary Period: This is a supervisory position. Under provisions of the Civil Service Reform Act, first time supervisors and/or managers will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period. You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
