This full-time position involves engaging with patients on their path to recovery in a supportive outpatient setting. Work Environment

This role is situated in our outpatient therapy center, which provides a welcoming and well-organized environment conducive to healing. The facility is staffed by a small, close-knit team of professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and shared knowledge. You will perform hands-on treatment and assessments in a facility designed to accommodate various rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, identifying their specific goals and needs to create tailored treatment plans.
• Manage individual patient caseloads effectively, equating to one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention during each session.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy techniques to facilitate improved mobility.
• Engage patients in diverse therapeutic activities that aim to enhance their range of motion, strength, and overall physical well-being, while encouraging active participation in their recovery process.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that encompass various treatment strategies, aligning with both patient and organizational health objectives.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and progress to ensure continued alignment with patient goals and adapt strategies as necessary.
• Document patient care services meticulously to maintain clear communication among the healthcare team and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Work closely and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, contributing to an interdisciplinary approach.
• Educate patients on the importance of healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellness, emphasizing the role of fitness and nutrition.
• Provide ongoing motivation to patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a supportive and positive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on adults undergoing rehabilitation due to orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. We serve a diverse patient demographic, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking to regain mobility after surgery. Your role is pivotal in addressing their unique challenges and tailoring rehabilitation programs to suit individual recovery timelines.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued, providing a foundation for understanding the specific challenges faced by this patient population.
• Skills in promoting patient education and lifestyle modifications will enhance the outcomes of treatment plans.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
