Key Responsibilities\n

The LCSW will undertake various critical duties, including:

• Psychosocial Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to gauge the emotional and social needs of students, utilizing a deep understanding of human behavior and psychosocial factors that influence academic performance and personal development.

• Clinical Interventions: Provide supportive counseling to students and families, facilitating family conferences, navigating complex decisions related to healthcare, and ensuring that families effectively communicate their concerns to educational and medical staff.

• Triage and Case Management: Demonstrate proactive management of clinical cases, identifying high-risk situations, prioritizing urgent referrals, and collaborating with case managers on discharge planning to support optimal student outcomes.

• Legal and Ethical Standards: Ensure that all assessments and interventions adhere strictly to legal regulations, including handling suspected abuse or neglect and respecting patient rights as outlined in Tenet Policies.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation as required by organizational policy, including Interdisciplinary Plans of Care, Social Services Progress Notes, and other relevant records that track patient services.

• In-Service Education: Educate staff and faculty on psychosocial issues impacting student care, conducting engaging workshops and training sessions.

• Quality Improvement: Actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of service delivery by contributing to the analysis of patient care metrics and advocating for innovative approaches to improve outcomes.

• Community Engagement: Organize and participate in support programs and educational initiatives that uplift students and their families, including cancer-specific support groups and activities during Social Work Month.

• Additional Duties: Be adaptable and willing to take on other responsibilities as needed within the scope of social services.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 , based on qualifications and experience.
