Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments, incorporating accepted social work interventions.

• Provide ongoing counseling and crisis intervention to students, assisting them in navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Maintain accurate records, including clinical notes and treatment plans, in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, teachers, and family members to discuss patient progress, treatment needs, and any emerging concerns.

• Assist in program planning and the organization of services tailored to meet the mental health needs of students within the educational environment.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to strategize and coordinate effective treatment plans that address the holistic needs of each student.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on high-risk school-aged children and adolescents who may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment disorders. Many of these individuals may have experienced trauma or face socio-economic barriers affecting their emotional health. Your expertise and compassion will be vital in providing support and facilitating access to resources that promote their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, preferably with a focus on school-based services.

• Strong proficiency in electronic medical records systems and various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in English.

Compensation and Benefits\n
