Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized therapeutic services, including assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning tailored to each student’s unique needs.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of clinical notes, treatment progress, and treatment goals in compliance with departmental policies and relevant regulations.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and parents, to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that prioritize the psychosocial well-being of students.

• Effectively communicate with healthcare providers and school personnel to report on student progress, address concerns, and facilitate referrals for additional support as necessary.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, to address emotional and behavioral issues among youth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will predominantly work with children and adolescents facing various emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. Your role will be pivotal in providing support to students through personalized therapeutic interventions that encourage their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, preferably in school-based counseling.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems, telehealth platforms, and standard office applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits\n
