CT Technologist

Role: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for operating CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images following physician orders and protocols. Key Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to capture routine images, applying patient-specific technical factors while ensuring safety principles like Image Wisely® and Image Gently®. Administer contrast media, perform IV access, and support invasive procedures under CT guidance. Maintain a clean, safe environment, prepare patients, and communicate effectively to ensure patient comfort and understanding. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training, and departmental workflows to enhance care and efficiency. Perform equipment quality control, document activities, and ensure timely processing of images for interpretation. Adhere to regulatory standards and uphold professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered values. Qualifications Associate’s degree or accredited radiologic technology certificate. ARRT registration in Radiography (R) required; Maryland/Virginia licensure upon hire. CPR/BCLS certification within 90 days; prior experience not required, cross‑training preferred.
