Senior Legal Counsel (State Licensed)

To support a growing legal function, the full-time Senior Legal Counsel (State Licensed) will focus on complex commercial contracting and data partnerships while collaborating with various teams in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead complex commercial negotiations and manage inbound data provider agreements critical to the company's product infrastructure Support broader legal workstreams, including corporate governance, employment matters, and outside counsel management Advise on privacy and data protection matters, partnering with cross-functional teams on product risk assessments and new feature launches Required qualifications 8+ years of legal experience with significant in-house experience at a technology or high-growth B2B company Strong background in commercial contracting and technology transactions, capable of leading complex negotiations independently Experience in areas such as privacy, product counseling, corporate governance, or employment J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar in good standing Practical fluency with AI and legal technology, with experience in building AI-powered workflows
