Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our teen and young adult outpatient treatment center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging and supportive group therapy sessions tailored for young adults, where clients can share experiences, exchange insights, and learn collaboratively.

• Providing Individual Counseling: Offer personalized and empathetic counseling to clients, helping them delve into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while guiding them toward effective coping strategies.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaboratively develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs and aspirations in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and client feedback to track and evaluate progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, sharing insights, coordinating client care, and discussing complex cases to foster the best client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking assistance with a range of mental health issues. Many clients have faced significant life transitions, including stress related to education, career, relationships, and emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
