Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Floater Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This full-time position requires a versatile individual who is willing to work onsite across various outpatient rehabilitation clinics. Work Environment

As a Floater Physical Therapist, you will work in various clinical settings that may include outpatient orthopedic clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and other allied health environments. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. The facility is equipped with advanced clinical tools and technologies to aid in rehabilitation processes, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs, identifying their functional capabilities and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals and clinical findings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, and other therapists—to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide flexible coverage across different clinic sites based on operational requirements, demonstrating adaptability to varying caseloads and patient needs.
• Document patient progress and maintain precise records that comply with legal standards and best practices.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes, home exercise techniques, and strategies for injury prevention to facilitate self-management.
• Assist in safe discharge planning, ensuring that patients are ready to transition smoothly from hospital to home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be to empower patients by improving their mobility, restoring function, and alleviating pain through tailored therapeutic programs. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient is key to delivering high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida, or eligibility to obtain such a license before commencing your role.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience within a hospital or acute care setting; strong clinical rotations will also be considered for new graduates.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning and proficient communication to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with prior experience working in multidisciplinary teams and those who have managed a varied caseload, including complex patient scenarios. Additional specialties in orthopedic rehabilitation or knowledge of advanced therapeutic modalities would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, along with mileage reimbursement for travel between clinics.
