Work Environment\n

This role allows for flexible remote work, providing a comfortable setting to conduct individual therapy sessions and group workshops. As part of our outpatient office team, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while collaborating with colleagues in a nurturing and uplifting atmosphere. The workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, for clients seeking to manage stress and enhance overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to pinpoint clients’ stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness techniques accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience building, adapting content to meet the needs of diverse participants.

• Integrate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and supporting clients' overall growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to weave mindfulness practices into a comprehensive treatment framework.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment interventions to ensure effective monitoring of outcomes.

• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection to refine your techniques and remain updated on mindfulness-centered research and methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using mindfulness techniques and integrating them into therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages client engagement.

• Strong ethical standards and dedication to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with mindfulness-based approaches, particularly MBSR, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
