This contract opportunity places you in a collaborative, student-centered environment, working alongside dedicated professionals at both Volusia Pines Elementary and Taylor Middle-High School. The academic year runs from August 4th, 2026 to May 28th, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, offering reliability and ample time to build rapport with students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations ideal
• Familiarity with a range of communication disorders in children and adolescents
• Engaged, compassionate, and resourceful approach to student support
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff, students, and families

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across assigned schools
• Developing and implementing individual therapy plans based on IEP objectives
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
• Documenting individual and group therapy sessions, maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
• Supporting progress monitoring and making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies
• Participating in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-based initiatives as needed
