Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract position serving students across elementary and secondary settings in the Orange City, FL area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity spans full-time hours, delivering essential speech-language pathology services at both an elementary and a middle-high school campus. The assignment begins August 4th, 2026, and continues through May 28th, 2027, providing continuity of care throughout the academic year.

Ideal candidates will empower students to achieve their communication goals and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals in a supportive school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Recent experience working in K-12 school settings
• Proven flexibility to serve diverse student populations across multiple campuses
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering student development and inclusivity

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services for students, tailoring interventions and supports to individual needs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Provide therapy sessions individually and in small groups, as needed
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards
• Collaborate with special education and general education teams, as well as families, to share strategies and review student progress
• Travel between Volusia Pines Elementary and Taylor Middle-High as assigned
