Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (mandatory)
• SLP-CCC credential and previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
• Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs in accordance with statewide guidelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads across Volusia Pines Elementary and Taylor Middle-High

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings within assigned schools
• Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determinations for speech and language services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support students’ communication and academic goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Engage in IEP meetings, providing input and expertise on goals, accommodations, and service delivery
