Its exceptional culinary experience is complemented by an award-winning wine program, recognized with the Wine Spectator 2026 Award of Excellence, and a thoughtfully curated craft cocktail program featuring both timeless classics and innovative seasonal creations. Located on the fourth floor of the flagship Louis Vuitton store at 6 East 57th Street, the café invites guests to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of cultural inspiration while enjoying a creative menu developed in collaboration with Chef Kylian Goussot and acclaimed French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric.
We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef - a dynamic culinary leader who sets the standard through excellence in execution, team mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to consistency.
This position offers a comprehensive package including: A base salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 plus quarterly bonus potential up to 15%, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and paid sick time, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role within a fine dining or Michelin-rated kitchen
- Proven leadership capabilities that have focused on training and developing staff through a "coach-player" philosophy
- An enthusiastic team builder with exceptional organizational and communication skills
- A culinary professional who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and embodies excellence in technique and taste
- The ability to drive performance and success without compromising quality and consistency
