Work Environment\n

This role is performed remotely, allowing for flexible work arrangements while being integrated into the school community. Team members are expected to maintain regular communication with school staff and families, ensuring a cohesive approach to mental health care. Although the position is primarily remote, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will engage with students and staff through scheduled virtual sessions and occasional onsite visits, promoting a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, considering their unique personal history and identified concerns, while documenting potential risk factors that may affect their well-being.

• Deliver educational support to students and families, helping them understand mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to uphold legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.

The focus of this role is primarily on students of various ages within the school setting, who may experience a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or educational setting, showcasing a strong foundation in therapeutic interventions.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working specifically within a school environment, as well as familiarity with the unique challenges faced by students, is preferred. Additional training in evidence-based practices and specialties such as trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or mindfulness interventions will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
