Work Environment\n

This remote full-time position is designed for a licensed clinical social worker specializing in school settings. You will engage with students primarily via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. While the flexibility of remote work is a highlight, you may also participate in occasional on-site activities, workshops, and team meetings to foster collaboration and community. Typical working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evenings and rotating weekends to meet the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate students' needs, using structured tools to consider their histories, presenting concerns, and risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their mental health objectives, fostering emotional resilience and successful participation in school activities.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, tailored to address a wide range of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that focus on enhancing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills in a safe learning environment.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to create a coherent care plan, ensuring that students receive a holistic approach to their mental health treatment.

• Respond to mental health emergencies by implementing crisis intervention strategies, utilizing de-escalation techniques, and determining appropriate referrals for advanced care when necessary.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to assist their needs.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
