The Mind Marvel Institute is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to be a pivotal part of our vibrant School Mental Health Team in Arvada, Colorado. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility while still being integral to the school's operations. Standard working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure robust support for the mental health needs of our students. On-call availability may also be required to assist with urgent mental health situations as they arise.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, integrating information from their personal history, presenting concerns, and overarching risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to develop individualized treatment plans targeted at addressing specific mental health concerns, fostering emotional stability, and enhancing integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques, to address diverse mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies among students.
\n
• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during emergencies, employing effective de-escalation strategies and making referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducation sessions to students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them for continued support.
\n
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to foster knowledge sharing and enhance collaborative approaches in care.

• Stay informed on the latest regulations and ethical guidelines relevant to mental health practices within educational settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, the LCSW will work with a diverse population of students, each presenting a unique mix of cultural backgrounds and mental health needs. You'll provide tailored services that consider their academic, social, and emotional development within the school framework, focusing on students' mental well-being and overall success.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or educational setting.

• Strong grasp of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly trauma-informed care.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans based on best practices.

• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with students and families from a variety of backgrounds.

• Sound decision-making skills, with a deep commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficient use of digital tools for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
