Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while still fostering close connections with schools and community organizations. You will work primarily with educational institutions, providing on-site virtual counseling to students, while collaborating with educators and administrators to ensure a comprehensive support system. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for special events, programs, or training sessions, emphasizing our commitment to flexible service delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and families, developing tailored intervention strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to provide individual and group counseling, effectively addressing a range of mental health challenges.

• Craft and implement comprehensive service plans focusing on client-centric goals, monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed.

• Advocate for clients' rights within the educational system, ensuring access to critical resources and services while addressing systemic social justice issues.

• Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of programs, assisting with grant reporting and program metrics to demonstrate effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance mental health services and outreach efforts.

• Engage regularly in team meetings and training sessions, and participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness of mental health services available.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily engages with school-aged children and their families, addressing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment difficulties. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students develop coping strategies, improve their academic performance, and enhance overall life satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
