Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health needs, establishing personalized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide individual therapy tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Work collaboratively with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and regularly monitor their progress to ensure the effectiveness of treatment.

• Provide teletherapy services, ensuring that clients with accessibility challenges receive quality care in a format that suits their needs.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements, ensuring clarity and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Serene Minds, you will serve a diverse range of clients experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidal ideation. Your work will be pivotal in creating safe spaces where clients can feel heard and supported. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• You must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions are acceptable.
\n
• Strong ability to make professional evaluations and treatment recommendations based on client assessments and feedback.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor to foster trusting therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with digital therapeutic tools.

• Prior experience working with diverse populations, particularly in a crisis intervention or suicide prevention capacity.
