Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify and evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, diagnosing co-occurring disorders and tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based interventions targeted at both mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities to help clients develop essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate and communicate regularly with our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s treatment are effectively integrated and holistic.

• Utilize motivational interviewing and continuous substance use monitoring to encourage and support clients in their recovery journeys while maintaining engagement in therapy.

• Educate clients and their family members about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of commitment to treatment.

• Dependably document treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal standards to maintain compliance and quality care.

• Actively participate in case conferences, contribute to team discussions, and engage in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge surrounding co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Solid proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), particularly concerning co-occurring disorders.

• A comprehensive understanding of the interrelationship between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in outpatient mental health settings or working specifically with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation systems will provide an added advantage in adapting to our workflow effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year.
