Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage proactively with clients to identify and mitigate risks that may lead to crisis situations, preventing the necessity for crisis services.

• Maintain accurate and timely crisis alerts and coordinate responses with county crisis services to ensure comprehensive support for each participant.

• Document and facilitate transitions for clients requiring hospital or inpatient services, including coordinating discharge processes and follow-up care with hospital staff.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs of clients, integrating their feedback and goals into therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize telehealth technologies to conduct counseling sessions, including virtual platforms that allow for real-time communication and rapport building.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse group of participants, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychiatric disorders. Your ability to connect and establish trust with clients from different cultural and social backgrounds will be essential. You will adapt your communication styles to meet the varied cultural, linguistic, and psychological needs of each individual and their families, fostering an inclusive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An active professional license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• Proven skills in building rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding while addressing their emotional and mental health needs.

• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with diverse populations, adapting verbal and non-verbal communication styles based on client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth or remote counseling capacity, handling emergencies and crisis intervention.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate client documentation.

• Experience in care coordination among multidisciplinary teams, particularly in transitions from inpatient to outpatient care.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral pathways within the Troutdale area and beyond.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
