Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Idyllic Behavioral Center, you will:

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport to foster therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, and plan for future appointments, including appropriate discharge processes when applicable.

• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored treatment plans that focus on the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including progress notes for every client, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to understand client backgrounds and current mental health challenges.
\n
• Provide individual counseling sessions on a weekly basis to promote consistent progress and support.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and compliance with best practices.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Must hold a current LPC license in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and therapy, both individually and in group settings.

• Proven experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
\n
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in documentation and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years of prior counseling experience, candidates with additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities and familiarity with telehealth practices will be highly regarded. Experience in a multidisciplinary environment is advantageous, as is a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
