Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress within our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients requiring additional services.

• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, utilizing culturally responsive techniques to ensure effective communication and understanding of their unique life experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in diverse therapeutic modalities.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and evidence of cultural competence in clinical practice.

• Proven capacity to deliver both individual and group therapy effectively, with an inclusive approach that respects and values diversity.

• Strong crisis intervention skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for authentic relationship-building with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
