Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to design individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused strategies in one-on-one and group therapy settings.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated client care and optimize treatment strategies.

• Participate in ongoing professional training and workshops to stay abreast of emerging trends and research in mental health, enhancing the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve a diverse client population, ranging from children to adults, facing various mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse disorders. You will engage with individuals, couples, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to suit their unique circumstances and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, preferably within outpatient settings.

• Demonstrated proficiency using EMR software and maintaining meticulous client records.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, adjustable based on experience and qualifications.
