Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of patients, ensuring outcomes reflect excellence in care.
• Engage with patients actively to motivate them through their recovery processes, adapting therapeutic methods as needed to enhance their experience and progress.
• Utilize advanced software systems to assess and objectively measure patient outcomes, ensuring that data informs ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans thoroughly, including detailed discharge notes to facilitate continuity of care and efficient follow-up.
• Conduct patient assessments that take age-specific needs into account, enabling tailored interventions that address both orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various neurologic conditions. Our clients range in age from young athletes to senior adults, and your approach will be crucial in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will help them regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; Temporary permit acceptable.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification is required to ensure safety and readiness in an emergency situation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly valued. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy and the use of rehabilitation technology will set you apart. Previous experience in using patient management software and a proven track record of engaging patients in their care will be beneficial.
