Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by supporting middle school science students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time onsite position spans 35 hours a week with an immediate start date, extending through June 10, 2027. The role centers on delivering engaging science instruction to general education students, with some collaboration alongside SPED teachers if needed.

Key Requirements:

• Valid and active teaching certification/licensure relevant to assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required for eligibility (emergency teaching permit possible with degree)
• Experience teaching in school settings, ideally with middle school grades
• Mastery of science content and effective instructional practices
• Ability to create and align lesson plans with current state and district science standards
• Demonstrated skill in using formative assessments and differentiating instruction
• Strong classroom and behavior management experience, particularly in urban environments
• Comfortable working onsite between 8:30AM and 4:00PM without schedule accommodations
• Familiarity and ease with assigned district and local community
• Capable of working collaboratively with other educators
• Completion of all required PA clearances prior to start
• Consistent, reliable transportation is a must
