Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology, you will:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, gathering detailed medical histories and performing physical assessments.
• Collaboratively design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans with cardiologists and other healthcare team members.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias through ongoing monitoring and treatment adjustments.
• Educate patients about heart disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and medication management to promote optimal cardiovascular health.
• Perform essential diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, interpreting results to inform clinical decisions.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions following established treatment protocols while ensuring patient safety and adherence.
• Participate in patient follow-up care through routine check-ups, ensuring continuity of care and tracking treatment outcomes.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care, addressing all aspects of heart health.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
